Description
Sealer for Resilient Floor Finishes
It is made of 14% solids. Use this before your floor finish as a sealer, and primer. You will have a long lasting foundation for a beautiful shiny floor finish.
Resilient floors are flexible. A specially made sealer for resilient floor finish will provide better, longer lasting results than a floor finish designed for hard, nonflexible floor surfaces.
Clear Acrylic Seal
First Reflections make an excellent foundation and sealer for resilient floors for high-gloss finishes. This is a clear, acrylic seal that creates a secure and adherable surface for your floor finish. It has a self-leveling formula that helps create a flat, smooth foundation. First Reflections is also a superior base coat for an acrylic finish when burnishing or spray buffing.
First Reflections specially made to enhance the appearance of Resilient flooring. It is a superior base coat for acrylic finishes subjected to either burnishing or spray buffing.
This works best on flooring made with materials that are elastic.

Directions
Directions:
For best results, apply two coats to provide superior adhesion to floors. Always apply to a newly stripped floor. With a clean, rayon/cotton blend mop, apply by first “framing” the ar-ea to be finished, then go back and fill in the “framed” area with a gentle side-to-side mopping motion, being certain to overlap each pass slightly. Apply in a thin, unbroken line. If a rectangular applicator is used, be certain that each pass slightly overlaps the pre-vious one. Let each coat dry to the touch before recoating. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes. High humidity could prolong drying time. A fan can be used to reduce drying time. Allow the seal to set for 10 minutes before starting a fan. Do not use a fan in areas where dust could be blown onto sealer. Apply a second coat using the same method out-lined above. After 30 minutes begin applying a floor finish.
Floor Care Tips
– Do not use your stripping or rinsing mop, or bucket, for the application of floor sealers. Always start with a clean, previously wrung-out cotton/rayon mop and bucket. Save this mop and bucket just for the application of sealer.
– To avoid the accumulations of finish build-up in corners or on baseboards, always apply the first coat no closer than 12 inches from baseboards. Apply a second coat, and every other coat up to baseboards.
– Always apply even, medium coats. To ensure the application of medium coats, wring out the bottom half of a fully saturated mop.
– Discard unused sealer. Pouring unused sealer from your bucket back into the original container can spoil the good sealer.
